Loudoun County, VA:  The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed bank robbery that occurred December 27th in Sterling, Virginia.  
 
Shortly after 9 a.m. an unknown masked suspect entered the Wachovia Bank located in the 47000 block of Community Plaza. The suspect approached a teller and brandished a firearm before demanding cash.  
 
The suspect, described as a Black male and approximately 6’ tall, was wearing a Halloween style mask, a black jacket with a red shirt underneath at the time of the robbery.  
 
If you were in the area of the Community Plaza or the Towncenter Plaza at Route 7 and Dranesville Road between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Monday and saw anything suspicious you are asked to contact Investigator K.
