LCSO Investigates Armed Robbery on N. Cypress Road in Sterling Park Early Sunday

Loudoun County, VA: The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred overnight in the Sterling Park area. 
 
Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011, deputies responded to the 100 block of North Cypress Road for a report of gunfire. Deputies responding to the scene located three adult males. The three men reported they were walking a small distance from one another when one of the men was approached by an unknown Hispanic male. The suspect brandished a firearm and the victim fled into a nearby residence. A Hispanic male then approach a second victim, brandished a firearm, and removed jewelry from the victim. A brief struggle ensued between the victim and suspect and several rounds were discharged from the firearm. There were no injuries. The suspects fled in a black pick-up truck.
