Falls Church Man Charged in Connection with Robbery of Potomac Plaza Target Store

From Loudoun Sheriff:

Loudoun County, VA:  A Falls Church man has been charged in connection with the May 22, 2011 robbery of the Target store in Sterling, Virginia.

Christopher M. Deatherage, 24, allegedly entered the store located in the Potomac Run Plaza and approached the display case in the electronics section of the store and asked to see an MP3 player. Once the case was opened the suspect attempted to grab several MP3 players. The suspect then brandished what appeared to a knife and threatened the employee. He then fled the store with several MP3 players.

Loudoun Sheriff’s Investigators identified Deatherage as a suspect in the case and he was taken into custody in Maryland this past weekend. He is currently being held without bond on the robbery charge at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
