Teen hit by car in Sterling crosswalk; driver wanted

STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- A juvenile was hit by car while he was in a crosswalk in Sterling Tuesday night, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The male was in the crosswalk around 7:50 a.m. crossing Greenthorn Avenue at Sterling Boulevard, officials said.

The vehicle was described as gray, possibly a Honda. Officials said the driver was trying to make a right turn onto Sterling Boulevard. The driver is described as an older Middle Eastern or South Asian man. According to officials, the driver did not try to help the juvenile or talk to him before leaving the scene.
