2 men wanted in Sterling Wells Fargo Bank robbery


STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is searching for two suspects in connection with a robbery that happened at a Wells Fargo Bank in Sterling, Va. on Wednesday afternoon.

The robbery happened around 4 p.m. at the bank located in the Community Plaza in Sterling, Va., officials said.

Two men, both carrying firearms went into the bank. One of the suspects threatened a customer and demanded money, according to officials. Both of the men were dressed in black and wearing masks. They are both being described as tall men with larger builds.

The suspects fled the scene in a light color, possibly silver or white late model Nissan Altima, according to officials.

Suspect wanted in Sterling High-Up Food Mart robbery


STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- Detectives from Loudoun County Sheriff's Office are searching for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery that happened at a High-Up Food Mart located in Sterling, Va. on Wednesday.

The robbery happened at the High-Up Food Mart located in the 400 block of Enterprise Street, officials said.

The surveillance video shows the suspect going into the store right before 9:30 p.m. He pulled out a firearm and then demanded cash. He is then seen jumping over the counter and grabbing money from the cash register, officials said.

The cashier and a customer got involved in the incident and then a fight broke out. After what officials explained as a brief struggle, the suspect fled from the store with the money. Nobody was hurt in the incident.

Students interested in attending the Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) of Alexandria and Lorton, Va. can audition on Sun., Mar. 1 at MSA Lorton Campus at 9601 Ox Road. Auditions are required as part of the 2015-2016 academy registration. The MSA Academy audition is for performing arts students from 6th grade to 12th grade. The audition process will give prospective students an opportunity to demonstrate his or her skills in dance, music and theater for the chairs of the respective arts departments.  Applicants must attend a live audition if they live within three geographical states of MSA.  Prospective students living beyond the three-state radius may submit a DVD audition.

As part of the City of Manassas Capital Improvement Program, Manassas’ water transmission main line has been slated for an upgrade, replacing the 24-inch water transmission main line with a 36-inch main line. The current, 45-year old water main line has served the City of Manassas well, but now that the line is approaching its useful life, it is being replaced with a water main line to supply the higher-demand for water, especially in the summer months, as well as improve overall system performance. The City of Manassas is currently working together with Prince William County, Va. along the Rollins Ford/Vint Hill Road/Route 28 road improvement areas, to replace the water transmission line, with project completion planned for 2020 at a total cost of more than $20 million.

Va. man arrested in murder-for-hire plot against his ex-wife


STERLING, Va. (WUSA) -- A Sterling, Va. man has been arrested in connection with a murder-for-hire plot against his ex-wife, authorities said.

Loudoun County Sheriff's Office arrested Dallas W. Brumback, Jr. 35, Thursday in the 100 block of Edds Lane. He was charged with attempted capital murder, officials said.

The investigation started in November 2014 after Brumback met with a man he knew and made an agreement to have his ex-wife murdered, according to authorities.

The FBI and members of their Joint Terrorism Task Force were all a part of the investigation.

Brumback is currently at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond, officials said.
