Volunteer, Bike, Run, and Celebrate this Labor Day Weekend on the W&OD Trail

From the Dominion Trail Mix:

The Great Skedaddle is a term used to describe the disorganized retreat of Union troops back to Washington after their unexpected defeat at the first Battle of Bull Run on July 21, 1861. We will commemorate this historic retreat along the Washington and Old Dominion Trail with a running, walking and biking event along the paved W&OD Trail. History will be a part of this event with themed elements from the Battle of Bull Run, and the Trail itself, to celebrate the deep rooted history of this resource.

The event is non-competitive and untimed. Use it as a training day for an upcoming race, or simply come out to enjoy the trail with friends and family!
